Is it possible to use rdesktop to RDT to a OS X host?
I enabled my computer to accept requests from Apple RDT and tried it,
but I get a connection refused.

Rdesktop uses a different protocol from Apple Remote Desktop. You can
talk to Apple Remote Desktop using VNC, but you may have to play around
to find a compatible VNC client/settings.
