Flash Player Won't Work In Safari

I have Flash Player 10.3.183.43 installed on my iMac OSX 10.5.8. In
Safari a YouTube message says I need to install the latest version of
Flash to watch video. If I try to play a video I get a "plugin missing"
message and the video won't play. The version of Flash Player installed
is correct for my OS. In FireFox the videos play. Any thoughts about
why Flash doesn't work in Safari?

Google search for Adobe flash, and install that.
