It seems that if you select "Print" when using Pages that the options to
print only a single page and/or to print multiple copies are not available
unless you select "Preview" from the Print dialog and then from Preview
select the desired options. Why you just can't do this directly in the Print
dialog has me somewhat boggled.

My copy of Pages '09 v. 4.03 has the standard print dialog box with the
options you mentioned. It appears by pressing Command Key + P, rather
than selecting Page Setup... menu option.

If I press Command-P followed by a return a single copy of the page will
print. What I would like is to specify that I would like multiple copies
printed. As I stated it appears I can only do this by selecting the Preview
option in the dialog which results when I click on the Preview option after
the Command-P.

What type of dialog box do you see when you press Command Key + P?

Is it?

At the Top Printer (with drop menu)
In the middle Presets (with drop menu)
At the bottom "?" PDF Preview Cancel Print buttons

If so click on the triangle button to the right of the printer drop down
menu.

By Golly! :-)

Clicking on that little wedge did the job. Many thanks for the bonk!
