I read a post here a week or two ago mentioning (I thought anyway) that
you could sync messages from your Mac to your iTouch through using the
Notes mailbox in Mail4. I tried it but no Reminder>notes mailbox
appeared on my ITouch. Am I doing something wrong or did I
misinterprete the old posting?

Perhaps you haven't instructed iTunes to synchronize your notes. Connect
your iPod Touch, highlight it in the DEVICES list in iTunes, click the
"Info" tab at the top, and make sure "Sync notes" is checked.

(BTW, to me, the term "iTouch" has always seems better associated with a
personal massage device. ; )

Thanks for the reply, JR. Slly misunderstanding. I had expected the
Notes to appear in a mailbox in the mail.app as they do on my Mac. But
I see that the Notes app is functional now. Works fine for me.

As to the iTouch as a personal massage device, a 5 star application in
that area would probably double sales. You could sell the apps by
gender.

You do realize that Apple doesn't sell anything named "iTouch", don't
you?

it doesn't matter. that's the nickname people are calling the ipod
touch, and it's fairly obvious what is meant.

It matters in the context of this thread, though.

Apple also never sold anything called a Pismo, Lombard, or WallStreet.
These were just secret, in house code names before the models were
released. Yet how many posters here referred to their Pismos 8 years
ago as G3 Powerbook with Firewires, and I can't even remember the
official namd for the Lombard or Wallstreet? So what is it about the
nickname "iTouch" that drives you and JR ballistic? Maybe it is some
sexual connotation to the word which I had not intended.

Did I say it drives me ballastic? Did JR? He made a joke based on that
name, and your response led me to believe that you didn't realize that's
not the real name.

Since we're discussing it, though, I've been curious why people put in
the extra effort to say or type "iTouch" instead of just "touch". For
that matter, I've never understood why sometimes say "VW" insead of
"Volksvagen" when speaking since the former, while easier to type, has
an extra syllable to utter.

Could it be related to the reason some people tend to TyPe lIkE tHiS -
they think it looks cool (when nothing could be further from the truth,
IMO)?
