Based on feedback I have altered the wording on a few of the points and
added a few more:

€ A partial subset is not synonymous with the whole
€ A person's actions speak more about him than what others say
€ Apple doesn't provide as many options as the rest of the PC industry
€ Different viruses are still different even if in the same "family"
€ Dreamweaver and GoLive are professional web development applications
€ Dreamweaver, being the #1 pro web design tool, is used by many pros
€ If A = B then B = A (known as the "symmetric property of equality")
€ Incest and sex are not identical (only a pervert would disagree)
€ One can be actually guilty of a crime but neither tried nor convicted
€ OS X is partially based on BSD (esp. FreeBSD)
€ OS X users are at far less risk of malware then are XP users
€ Photoshop is an image editing application
€ Pros aren't beginners in their field (though there are new pros)
€ Similarly configured Macs and Win machines tend to cost roughly the same
€ Some people do use the term "screen name" in relation to IRC
€ Teaching is a "real job"
€ The path "~/users/username/library/widget" is not common on any OS
€ The term "all widgets" does not specify a specific subgroup of widgets
€ The tilde in an OS X path does *not* mean "the hard drive only"
€ Things which are not the same are not "identical"

Any reasoned disagreement?

Clearly some do. Look at how they troll over their disagreement to simple
facts:

Several people: Wally, Sandman, Tim Adams, Steve Carroll - the trolls who

What I have done is summarized the debates I have had with them from the
last few years; and in doing so completely crushed their lies about me.
Some examples:
* They claim I am mostly off topic - look at the topics I debate, most *on*
topic to computers and OS X specifically. There are a few that look at
general logic, which can apply to almost any debate, and some that are
off topic (politics).
* They claim I have illogical or irrational ideas. Well, the above lists
my views. If people disagree, fine... but I think it is pretty clear to
reasonable people that the things I claim make a hell of a lot more sense
than the contrary claims that the trolls make.

Here is my challenge to the trolls: feel free to come up with a list of
things *they* believe in... things they think might even offend me if they
care to. I would love to see their lists. Would amuse the hell out of me.

Which of the above do you disagree with - or do you just disagree with my
forcing the trolls to either shut up or make it very, very clear they
disagree with such common sense views?

Ah, are you going to join the other trolls in whining about such a simple
list of facts:

€ A partial subset is not synonymous with the whole
€ A person's actions speak more about him than what others say
€ Apple doesn't provide as many options as the rest of the PC industry
€ Different viruses are still different even if in the same "family"

€ The term "all widgets" does not specify a specific subgroup of widgets
€ The tilde in an OS X path does *not* mean "the hard drive only"
€ Things which are not the same are not "identical"

I love watching as Tim and Steve whine about how it is so awful to explain
things better over time. They simply do not see growth and learning as a
sign of strength. Well, they are just whining when I make their trolling
harder to push with any semblance of reason. They simply have lost all
grip.

I would *still* love to see any list of facts you or the other trolls can
come up with that would be things you think a reasoned person would agree
with but I don't. Betcha you can't.

Amazingly incorrect, but I can accept that you believe this. If it were

I wish you well. I bet, for what it is worth, that though you are an
infrequent poster that since you spoke poorly of me the trolls shall accept
your words... when infrequent posters speak poorly of them they deem those
folks sock puppets. You will serve to show their double standard. Thanks!

As a fellow lurker, I understand your view. Trying to express a point
of view to Snit is the same as speaking Spanish to someone who only
understands English. He hears words, but doesn't comprehend what you
are saying.

He has an agenda and no replies in the world; sensible or non-sensible
will deter him from his goal.

The ongoing Snit vs the world threads are sometime amusing. And some of
the people in this group perpetuate by continuing pointless arguments.
The thing that always amazes me is that even though there are others in
the group not liked overall (i.e. Zara, Muahman), the disdain for one
person by many posters (over 40) is overwhelming.

I guess by making this reply, he will need to defend whatever
"reputation" he thinks he has. Snit is a human car-accident and we are
all rubbernecking. We know it is bad form, but yet strangely curious.
Treat him the same way, look but just keep moving on.

Ah, right on cue. Snit must justify his motives. Yet, for some reason,
no one believes it. Why is that? If it is honor and honesty why does no
one else defend you? Why do they persecute you will such zeal.

My agenda for my post was to point out that you are a disruptive poster
in this group, but there is little that can be done. There are certain
times you post on-topic discussions and debate, but it is drowned in
your endless "Snit vs Trolls (who before you starting posting in CSMA
weren't) Summaries".

Whining? I do not have concerns about your actions. I am merely stating
my opinion of your postings. Anything address about your "actions"
would be promptly ignored by you as they have no bearing on your
intent.

You have posted accusations against me. I ask for you to support them. So
far your "support" is that others say it. So? Many people say many things.
That does not make it so.

So far you have made a number of accusations against me and, above, posted a

Based on feedback I have altered the wording on a few of the points and
added a few more:

01 A partial subset is not synonymous with the whole
02 A person's actions speak more about him than what others say
03 Apple doesn't provide as many options as the rest of the PC industry
04 Different viruses are still different even if in the same "family"
05 Dreamweaver and GoLive are professional web development applications
06 Dreamweaver, being the #1 pro web design tool, is used by many pros
07 If A = B then B = A (known as the "symmetric property of equality")
08 Incest and sex are not identical (only a pervert would disagree)
09 One can be actually guilty of a crime but neither tried nor convicted
10 OS X is partially based on BSD (esp. FreeBSD)
11 OS X users are at far less risk of malware then are XP users
12 Photoshop is an image editing application
13 Pros aren't beginners in their field (though there are new pros)
14 Similarly configured Macs and Win machines tend to cost roughly the same
15 Some people do use the term "screen name" in relation to IRC
16 Teaching is a "real job"
17 The path "~/users/username/library/widget" is not common on any OS
18 The term "all widgets" does not specify a specific subgroup of widgets
19 The tilde in an OS X path does *not* mean "the hard drive only"
20 Things which are not the same are not "identical"
21 The word "ouch" is not a sure sign of agreement.

Any reasoned disagreement?

So you *do* deny that some arms are arms. OK.

I clearly said that is only the question for an idiot like yourself.

You really don't need to prove your reading comprehension problem on
*every* post you make;)

So are you going to add this to your list or not? You certainly don't
seem too convinced of your position here. LOL!

I do deny that "some arms" are "arms". Of course, once you learn the
concept of subset you'll understand that "some arms" are merely "some
arms" and not "arms". LOL!

would you agree that any subset of "arms" are "arms"?

I am not interested in your semantic games, Steve. By the way, you never
gave a direct answer to the question:

Do you deny that nuclear arms are arms?

Please note, the question has nothing to do with the Constitution... but
your trolling games made you jump to it in your answer. Come on, Steve,
isn't it time you learn that:

A partial subset is not synonymous with the whole

And:

A partial subset is a subset of the hole

Please do not show that you have problems with *both* of those concepts.
