Snit has written TONS of other troll posts focusing on numerous posters.

Here is a more comprehensive list.
For what it's worth - I think being forged is one of the best things
that has happened to Snit. I think it has been made clear to him just
how abusive he's been and has chosen to step back. The trend is pretty
clear when you see the list below. I can't begin to understand why
John has taken it upon himself to defend Snit, but it's not helping
Snit much. :)
This Jesus guy is new or all I can see, and since he came in just when
Snit started to get his act together, I can sort of understand why he
would perceive Snit to be a "target" instead of the most hated and
most killfiled person in the history of csma.
So, to Snit; good for you. You have pretty much stopped your trolling,
and that's a welcome change. I have removed you from my killfile and I
hope to see more of this trend.

You should switch to MT-NewsWatcher, and add two filters:
Kill if "Message-ID" matches the regular expression "CABLE.NE"
Kill if "References" matches the regular expression "CABLE.NE"

That's not true Peter, killing a particular thread in MacSOUP is simple.
Just select the first message in the thread and press the '-' (minus)
key. You'll never see that thread again.
You can also do the same thing with posters. I have filters set up so
that posts from Snit or Jim Lee Jr. are killed, along with all
subthreads that spawn from their messages.

More so lately. I think he is getting better. I thank the "forger", if
there indeed was one, to help him on the way.

Only if I select view option 1, and it still downloads the
headers/bodies although that's not really a problem in itself.

It doesn't download the bodies, though it does download the headers
alright. Still, I never see them, so I don't even notice that.

I agree... John and the forger both deserve thanks.

He has to overlook an awful lot of reality to get there... a thing he
appears quite willing to do.

We'll see. Snit really wants to be the best Mac advocate in town... if
he can learn that he can't really stand toe to toe with reality while it
bludgeons him repeatedly he might get a chance to see if he's up to it.
Pretending that he hasn't forged ID's, forged documents, used
sockpuppets, nymshifted, lied endlessly, created tons of trolling
threads etc. hasn't exactly turned him into the csma version of an
eagle scout;)
And that's culled from less than a year's worth of posting. I wonder
what it would look like from the time Snit started posting regularly in
csma (late 2003)? How did you generate this list? Does it get the
threads which have had their names changed?
When you're gone ZERO problems on this group!

The only real difference in my posting is that I have reduced my taking of
the bait of Carroll... and that Jesus and John have shown that they are
honest and honorable and have been telling Steve just how absurd his
trolling is. Adams and Wally have, wisely, decided that they are not going
to even toss any bait at me... though Adams *still* cannot stop himself from
flaming me in his .sig. Someday, I suspect, even he will grow up.
As far as you taking me out of your kill file because you think I am posting
differently... if you really *had* me in your kill file how did you see my
posts to even know that? Oops. LOL!
Remember, Sandman, I have shown where you have been copying my posts to your
own server... which I notice I still am not blocked on. :) Currently you
have 116 references to me on your site, at least according to Google:

The list is generated by a script that looks the data up from my
database of csma posts. It does not show posts that have had the
subject line changed, only original new topics.

A better bet for kill filing me is to just kill file based on "snit". That
part stays consistent... the rest might change when I change Usenet clients
or even services or whatever.

The only posters I've ever killfiled are a few of the more notorious
denziens of Windows newsgroups.
> <snip troll bait>
I am going to let that one slip, Snit. But if you continue to drag up
your old trollings you will go back into the killfile. You have
explicitly stated that you wish old grudges to be in the past, yet on
your very first reply to me, you try to drag up things from the past.
I gave you one chance, and I have now let one slip. We'll see if you
can control yourself.

I do respond a lot to the trolls... and some folks prefer to not see that,
so I never get offended when someone says they wish to kill file me.
At least for now I am giving the trolls less responses... so the reasons for
putting me in a KF are reduced, but, hey, to each their own.

Just spew some nasty dishonest insults, blame me, and kill file me already.
Do not drag CSMA through your games until you get to that point. Or, better
yet, just stop trolling and flaming. Frankly I would prefer the latter.

Why don't they killfile the trolls instead? Why would they killfile
you?

You have claimed to have kill filed me in the past... and have said you will

I encourage you to take a big, healthy bite of reality, Sandman, which is
all have asked of you. If you can stop your trolling and flaming then
great! If not, well, consider this the last post you will get from me in
this thread... or at least this sub-thread for the pedantic trolls who would
miss that. :)

You piss me off. You've posted that same line over and over and you
don't answer questions.
Snit, it looks like Sandman's trying to work toward peace as well.
Please do try to work towards the same goal by not posting provocative

Why are you trying to tell me the reason I killfiled you? Are you
under the impression that I am not the sole authority for the reason
of the killfile?

Thank you. That was the reason I snipped your troll bait. It didn't
conform to reality.

Wow, the reality that Snit is what he is really gets to you guys,
doesn't it? Interesting...

Sandman does not deserve any peace. He has lied so much about me and my actions
in the past that I will treat him however I wish to. There is nothing I can do
that will be half as bad as what he has done to me. I know you're new here and
may not have seen Sandman in "action", but that's not an excuse to believe his
lies.

Suck it, Snit-2.
...and you snipped the rest of what I said just so you could have an
excuse to write another asshole post?
Fair enough... though I am disagree that he is trying to work toward peace.
I would welcome, however, being shown to be wrong on that. I will give him
another chance... and I do not mind if he claims it is he giving *me* a
chance.

LOL! Do you really think people buy this kind of shit? You're the troll,
if anyone is being given a chance here, it's you. Yes, Snit... it's
*that* obvious that you are merely engaging in yet another trolling
tactic... and a very tired one, at that.
