Pity it wasn't served up by a real server:

"HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 06:21:34 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2
mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.11 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.22
OpenSSL/0.9.7a
Last-Modified: Wed, 12 Apr 2006 05:59:43 GMT
ETag: "45c1b5-384012-443c974f"
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Content-Length: 3686418
Content-Type: text/plain"

Then the content type would have been set properly and people with
standards compliant browsers would be able to view it...

IE 7, Firefox and Opera all handle it just fine on Windows.

I used Firefox to view and download the image. Safari views the image just
fine when I drag it to from my desktop, but from the page it shows it as
gibberish text - it assumes the claimed content type is accurate.

Nope. My Mac can show .TGA files fine. Your server just isn't set to
serve them correctly.

Be fair, Jim.

That particular bit of fantasizing is Pratt-fall's.

It goes along with his fantasies about having gone to a decent
university when in fact he went to the equivalent of a Canadian
community college, and his fantasies about having one a national
debating championship when all we "won" was the ranking that came from
avoiding the good schools by entering only weaker tournaments.

For me such gaming is a non-issue, I simply do not enjoy it. But, for folks
who do like such gaming enough to have it be a determining factor in their
computer purchasing decisions, the Mac is likely not the way to go. I know
I suggest Windows machines to such folks.

You're pretty far out of my league, at skiing, hockey, or any other sport.

Golf, Hockey, Baseball, Soccer, Badmitton, Ping Pong, Pool, Lacrosse,

If they show it as an image, then they are NOT handling it just fine. His
web server is telling the browser that it is plain text, and so if the
browser is not displaying it as plain text, the browser is not handling it
fine.

What I get is a dialogue box asking me if I want to open the file or
save it. If I say open ACDSee opens and displays the image. If I say
save I get the standard dialogue box asking me for a location to save
it to.

Uhhh....no.

It's closer to a "standard" when all sorts of different operating systems
(OS/2, DOS, Linux, BSD, and many others) and the applications you can use
with them can make use of the file and do so correctly.

I'm at work now, so you'll have to do with a screenshot of my Dell XPS
GenII latop with only a GeForce 6800 GFX card:

I'll take a screenshot of my dual X1900XTX system when I get home.

One. Those frame rates are simply NOT possible on a laptop running a
6800. They are about 150 FPS high. (3d Benchmarks FPS video cards max
rates)
2.) It has to be an in-game screen shot and should be a TGA file and
unedited. (like this: http://brandon.omega6.net/RvS/dod/229fps.tga)
3.)Your ping is 0. You aren't even online. Find a server with 32 people

It is in-game, and it is unedited. It's the result of the in-game
screenshot function which saves the screenshots to
SteamApps/<email>/Day of Defeat/Screen Shots/ or something.

FPS isn't dependant on the number of players, but rather the number of
polygons. You're really totally clueless about games.

Yes, it's not physically possible to get those frame rates with a laptop and
a regular 6800.

The average FPS for that game at high settings according to literally of
hundreds of thousands of legit posted scores
on the 3d Benchmarks site is around 33fps. LOL

Plus yesterday he didn't know what the game was. No suddenly he has, and has
it running faster on a laptop than some do with
Nitrogen Cooling.... LOL, you be the judge.

Ok, then you still lie. And you even give an example:

Because you are a lying troll.

Right now you are in the midst of a discussion about games. It is your word

affect FPS because the
video card renders the polygons. LOL That's good stuff.

Yesterday you didn't game online. Today he administers ranked BF2 Servers.

Sandman has stated he got the screenshot at work but also that he does not
play the game at work - perhaps he found the screenshot online at work?

And not only does he now know what the game is, he is "the owner of
www.gameconnect.se which is an online gaming community". Yet, for some
reason, he cannot find anyone to play online.

Something is a bit fishy with his story.

It isn't. If you want me to change it to a TGA file, sure - but what's
the point?

shown.

I've never understood that about you. You forge PDF's, posting ids and
use sock puppets even though the google records saves all this.

On the question whether I play games at work, the answer it "No, not
really" which implies that it can and does happen, but as a general
rules, I dont' have the time to play games. You had do dishonestly
snip my sentence in order to lie, of course.

This is what you had to dishonestly snip in order to start up the Snit
Circus. Your response is invalidated by this quote, so you will
probably snip it again:

Well, no, not really. But I am the owner of www.gameconnect.se
which is an online gaming community and I administer several game
servers (including ranked Bf2 servers).

Having easy access to the games I host is a must, which is why I
ordered this gaming laptop.

To you when you say an answer is not just "no" but "really" no, or "not
really" then it implies that you mean yes, at least sometimes. Gotcha.

Clearly you are least sometimes play games at work. Really. Not "not
really" or "no".

Exactly - "Not really" is not the same as "No".
