I've never felt the need to use the filters in Newswatcher but I thought
Id try the Kill this Author.. option with Snit. Ten seconds later and
he's gone! Amazing.

As an experiment I enabled these filters and then tried 'em out on
all the articles currently in my newsspool for CSMA. Out of 43895
articles total, 22337 were killed, leaving 21558 unkilled.
So, those filters have killed just above 50% of the messages in CSMA
since August. I like that result so much I think I'll keep them turned
on.

Thanks. Hopefully the people who do not want to see me can stop bitching!

Such whiners!

No, I am still here... but if you do not want to see my posts, it is easy to
kill filter me in almost any news reader.

Not sure why people prefer to whine instead... other than they are lying
when they say they want to no longer see my posts.

Or maybe they are technically incompetent.

Whining, technically incompetent trolls... pretty much sums up the people
who keep telling me to leave.

And the people who will dishonestly snip the above sentence. :)

This gets Snit + sockpuppets [+ his circus if you wish to add other
names] - you can add to the string by seperating names with a "|".

Kill if 'from' matches the regular expression

($肌輡krinkle|mcnuggets|sigmond|snit|s_n_i_t|yarmalaide)

The parenthesis ( ) enclosing the string is required.

Riiiiight.

You want that to happen so much you carefully snipped without mention
the text someone would need to drag.
