I know the public safety officer in my city, and he gave me a copy of
the emergency preparedness information provided by Apple and AT&T. It
looks like they expect demand to be extremely high, and are going to try
to prepare all affected communities for the launch.

Since this launch will affect even non-AT&T subscribers, I took the
liberty of cross-posting this to other groups.

In short, I wouldn't count on getting an iPhone right away. However the
recent announcement of the 3G iPhone coming out soon may slightly temper
the demand.

And you decided that using 68 characters to complain that he used 32
characters was somehow better? BTW, he actually used 38 characters -
you were off by 6. ; D
