Subject: PR - Snak version 1.0 released - new IRC Client for Mac
Keyword: Market by market, Internet
This announcement is from:
Kent Sorensen, <ke...@kagi.com>
Snak is a cool new IRC Client for Mac, and the full version 1.0 can be
downloaded at:
This is the initial release of Snak and marks the culmination of a long
and fruitful beta process where many people provided invaluable feedback
and helped me shape Snak into the full featured IRC client it is today.
This is not the end of the line by far - I will continue to improve and
extend Snak with features requested by users Snak is a full featured IRC
client with some unique and very useful features, and it is being updated
and enhanced regularly.
What is an IRC client ?
An IRC Client is a program that will let you participate in discussions
in Internet Relay Chat channels. IRC is a service that uses the Internet
to connect a large number of servers all over the world. Individuals then
connect to a nearby server with the help of a client program like Snak
and join one or more of the thousands of channels that are available. At
any given time the largest of the IRC networks may have as many as 15.000
participants and almost anyone can find a channel that talks about a
topic that is of interest to that particular person.

Q: How many Microsoft programmers does it take to write a great piece of
software?
A: More.
It's finally here: THE MICROSLOTH JOKE BOOK, the ultimate collection of
Microsoft jokes, Bill Gates spoofs, and Pentium putdowns, edited by
Macworld columnist David Pogue.
Since we're stuck with Microsoft, the ultimate bastion of mediocrity, we
deal with our frustration in true American fashion: by making jokes. Here
are the best barbs, gathered and edited in an irresistible humor/gift
book -- jokes, light-bulb riddles, spoofs, top-ten lists, and the
complete collection of classic phony press releases (such as "Microsoft
to buy Vatican for $12 Billion"). All in a 150-pager about the dimensions
of a Microsoft Office CD.
Sense of humor version 4.0 or higher required.
Available for $10 at fine bookstores, or for $7.96 from Amazon.com:
