Microsoft are still lost.

On

a side note:

After watching the Xbox one launch, im not sure they have anything
left. They clearly focused most of the show on their response to the
idea of Apple TV. Some bits were quite good but i was left wondering
when they were going to show the real reason people buy consoles.

GAMES.

They saved about 20 minutes of the show for that.

The console looked like an oversized bluray player and the design was
as lacklustre as microsoft usually is.

The only good thing about it was that Sony's playstation 4 launch was worse.

Surprised? Microsoft's tablets are one failure after another. With all
that disposable capital I don't understand why they can't do anything
right.
Microsoft obviously can't measure correctly, so it makes sense they can't
design a secure OS and applications that work with it.
Microsoft is literally a bad joke that gets worse.

Not so fast:

Weren't these the same numbers the MacOS had in terms of market share
when all the fanguurls had their panties in a knot at about the same
time Apple was a few mm from the brink, right before Gates showed his
support for Apple by means of a significant investment?

Will Windows RT/8 succeed? Time will tell. Like most tech products,
usability, performance and price will have nothing to do with it.

And don't expect much from Apple in the near future, their creative mojo
is dead.

You MCSEs really need to stop using words like "investment." I have a tech
background before I went into Accounting & business and the absolute
ignorance on the tech side of the office of how things work in any
business never ceases to amaze me. I think that was a major reason why so
many companies took a shit in the dot-bomb.
I Googled Microsoft Investment in Apple and all I got was the 1997 non-
voting stock. If Microsoft had kept that stock they would have a gain of
over $4 billion.
I guess thats what happens when techies (Aspies?) try to "invest"

The reason behind the Microsoft Stock purchase was political. The Clinton
Administration wanted to break Microsoft apart. Remember? That lawsuit
died under the Bush admin.

Yes, thats why they have announced the WWDC in june and also a keynote
as part of it to show what they have been working on.

Apple are the only creative ones in the industry now Nashton. Lets talk
after the conference.

Why, does the truth make you irate?

I think the truth made you trolls irate Nashton, Microsofts share buy
in Apple has actually come back to bite them in the ass.

They are now getting ripped to shreds by the mighty fruit.

Of course, microsoft have some really good software guys that make
stuff like their server packages, hyper v, sccm, exchange, office and
more.
What they need to do is stay with that and create more good packages
for business.

That is one market Apple is unlikely to compete in. Therefore Microsoft
have it all to themselves.

You mean like the truth that you rail against Apple having it's stuff
made in China...

...made in China?
