'Senator Rand Paul, the Kentucky Republican, has taken the floor with a
very different tone. He says he is "offended" by the hearings. Who, he
said, doesn’t try to minimize their own taxes?

"Tell me what Apple has done that's illegal," he said.'

I have to agree with Rand Paul 100%. I'm really tired of hearing the
phrase "tax avoidance strategy" being bandied about in the media and
newspapers lately, too. This is being made a dirty word when in fact
'tax avoidance' is historically perfectly valid and legal. I have to
agree with Tim Cook's 'make no apology' position on this subject, too.

'Tax avoidance' needs to be tossed into the trashcan... ...right on
top of the smelly, rotten old phrase 'fair share'...

amen brother!

If the congress clowns don't want it to happen, they can change the
laws.

Of course, after all the dust settles they'll do exactly what they've
been doing for way too many years, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Apple is on the government's shitlist for refusing to put an NSA backdoor
into its OS. Does anyone actually believe the Microsoft side of the
_NSAKEY story?

Actually that's from Flint.
Doesn't Windows support Unicode?
Flint is using Windows' prporietary char page.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252; format=flowed

Baker is using Unicode, so those funky characters work fine on his screen
and any one else's that respect international standards.

Awww....isn't that cute. The widdle fishie is defending his man
friends use of an obsolete newsreader. So loyal, if you were a dog
you could be called Fido, or Rex, or simply Mutt, but alas, your
parents called you "Chimp".
