Interesting. So it's not really flying off the shelves contrary to
rumour.

There's vast areas, like New England and the Midwest with no
representation. Is this because there's no AT&T network there?

Depends on the store, depends on the day. About 1/2 the stores will have
them in stock, then run out. They are sitting at about 1,220,000 sold so
far. We should know the number on Tuesday or Wednesday. Check Apple's
status here: 9pm - 9am only.

It's because there are no people, or not enough to make it worth while
to put an apple store.

Do the intervening weeks mean nothing?
Apple may have shipped once or twice since the release date.

This seems to be a map _only_ of Apple Stores; it doesn't show AT&T
stores. Handsets may be available in those areas, too.

The only store on that Map in NH is an Apple Store. None of the AT&T stores are
shown.
