Computing since 1991 - ZERO viruses, intrusions, TH's.
You've been luckier than I have. Avast has caught numerous viruses on my
XP installations. I wouldn't advise anybody to run Windows without AV
software.

Are you high? There's no AV protection in any edition of Windows.
Windows Defender is not AV and it's not even included with XP.
I agree with Edwin on this one. Avast is awesome, as is AVG Free. It
has yet to find anything on my system, but it's good to know I have
some sort of protection in case something does show up.
If it's never found anything, how do you know it's awesome? :)

Zzzzzzzzz.
I think zara is paid by Apple to make Windows users look bad.
Go to: Control Panel
Click: Security Center.
See: Virus Protection.
Eat Shit.
Don't be so sure. Symantec Corp. Edition caught a nasty little Web
applet trying to get into my Dell XP desktop machine last week.
That's what is obligatory to set up Virus Protection in 'Windows'?
You are always funniest when you are actually trying to be serious for
a change :D
Disagreeing with another Wintroll? Be sure not to let zara bitchslap you.

I see you will not be moving to 10.5 on THAT machine.
You are right about that. If I want to use Leopard bad enough, I will
upgrade to a faster Mac. Until then, Tiger is all I need.
The Salvation Army has a bunch of post 99 apple computers for sale - cheep.
Try to come forward, closer to the future, scum sucker.
What's a virus?
I honestly don't know. Wait!! Maybe I have one, and don't know it. Maybe
you do, too.
How do I know? 'cuz Avast regularly finds stuff on my computer-
illiterate friend's computer. ;-)
You like shit, don't you Dr. Zit?
Anyways, just because Windows will tell you the status of other virus
scanning software doesn't mean Windows has a virus scanner built in.
But you already knew that, shit lover.

Not Windows users per se. Just Wintrolls. A lurker could stray in here
looking for information about Macs, and may inadvertently take Wintroll
claims seriously. The presence of zara and MooMooMan makes that less
likely.

Yes, I've often suspected as much. He probably dissuades more lurkers
from trying a Mac than all the Wintrolls combined! ;)
