I've got the top two, but the AIX 3.2 library might be worth putting
online. Can you FTP it?
www.supervinx.com/AIX/AIX-3.2-Hypertext_Information_Base_Library.iso
(as usual ... beware of the case ...)
As usual I still can't get in......your site does not like me. I
wasn't the one who bashed your Prime Minister either !!!
CT the Pacifist (Hah ! )
If you were, you would have had free access :-D
BTW ... read your email ;-) ... you have mail...
I foolishly assumed Hypertext implied HTML. What can I view this with?
I just got there with Firefox.......damn my short-term memory! I need
an upgrade....

A CD-Burner package, it's a CD "image" file in ISO format (maybe).
For use to Burn a copy to a CD or CD-RW or DVD-R etc.

I'll let you know about my test on Friday (monovision corrections).

Yes, I mounted the iso in Linux but there are only several *.key and
*.bin files. They need a view of some sort.
You need the InfoExplorer program under AIX. I have the AIX 3.2
Installation Guide that describes the steps necessary if needed.
I guess you'd had hit harder ...
Have no problem with that link. I just C&P the link and Firefox offers
to open or save the file. As supposed.
What browser are you using and how is it configured to handle .ISO files
? Maybe that explains it. (Or not.)

Ah. Firefox again. I use that too. Even prefer to use it before
Nerdscape in the meantime. I try to avoid Exploder like the plague (like
many others). Would not use it without a reason.
Do you need DIMM, SIMM, single ZIP or DIP chips ?
Or metal beads for the core memory ?
Please don't say "Tubes".
(At that time of year "Punch Cards" come to my mind ...)
I think none of those would help......I believe I destroyed too many
brain cells with several hundred gallons of good Kentucky Boubon that
I consumed over the years. However, I sure had fun doing it..........
Your statement: (I guess you'd had hit harder ... ) reminded me of an
incident in Libya many years ago, and it was the only time I ever hit
anyone with anything other than my hands.
2 separate Air Force squadrons got into a scuffle on a basketball
court between their barracks and a friend of mine (also an NCO) and I
happened to blunder right into the middle of it .....and of course, we
were required to quell the incident. One of the instigators was a
very large guy with a very large hammer and he was being quite
belligerent.
I picked up a large piece of wood from the bleachers they had torn up
to use for weapons and told him if he had to fight, he should fight
me. He turned and laughed to his comrades and belittled my
capability...........which is when I hit him flush on the left ear
with the flat part of that stick, and he went down pretty fast and
didn't get up for a long time.
I made a report to the Commander next day, and we shipped the injured
party to another Air Force Base in Italy within a week.....with a
large bandage on his ear. (Sorry about that, SuperVinx)
The shame of the whole situation was that I never got to see that
ear.....:-)

Ha-hahhh, ha-hahhh, now you're talking my language. Just so long as you
don't come around wanting to mine my memory for the gold content now that
gold's 600+ per ounce.

Is the guide available in an emailable form ?
