I have some nice additions: I bought from Switzerland an L40SX (about 13
euros, just to say).
It came with the external keypad, the original PSU, blue manual case,
manuals, floppy, warranty card (expired, of course) and the black leather
bag !
It works flawlessly, also the HD (80 MB), but surprise !
It has 10 MB of RAM... perhaps the best feature !
I installed OS/2 2.1 and it works great !
Ah, only a trouble (I beg pardon to german friends ...).
Oh, where the ctrl key is ? Strg ... strg ... strg ...
Keyboard is german, manuals are in german, refdisk let you choose german
keyboard and swiss keyboard ... (I have, obviously, an english
refdisk ...)
Have a nice holiday !

Ah. The rare - because expensive - 8MB module most likely.
According to the IBM papers the machine did not take 2 x 4MB, which
surprised me quite a bit when I read that.

Hmm. It was designed to run on the L40SX as well.

Just take the left-lowermost. It is "Steuerung" (which is what "Control"
means). Caused a lot confusion back than. And still does as it seems.

Same to you. Don't overdo it.
