Aha. A local no less!

Well, this is an Innovation sound board. The Innovation was popularised
by Microprose amongst others a s a competitor to the Adlib board. That
was back before the SoundBlaster arrived. As for program support - the
only ones you'll find are some of the Microprose sims. Other than that -
I don't know.

As for the jumpers - your guess is as good as mine.

I (just) might be able to find out some details for you.

Another pointer: Give Mark Stewart at Logitech (shop) a ring. He had one
of these years ago and might still have some details.

Cheers.

I need some help. I've aquired a sound/game card from
a friend who got it from someone else. It comes with a total of
no documentation, and I'd like to find out if it is of any use
at all besides a joystick port.

Diagram follows....

Key
---
1 : Jumper switch, currently across middle of three choices
2 : Single jumper, shorted.
3 : Jumper switch, currently across furthest left hand choice of four.
4 : Standard Audio Socket? (Like on the back of a video recorder??)
5 : Standard 15 pin joystick port.

Also, printed on the back of the card is the number "8902".

Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated...

Tim.

Well, it looks like you have an INNOVATION card. These cards I think are only
three voice speaker. Basically its sorta like a Tandy speaker.
