Well, not large by today's standards, but it's large compared to what
was shipping with these PC's when they were new (2004/2005).

»» NOTE ««
I've already tried looking for the answer in the DELL forums, but only
found this:
http://en.community.dell.com/forums/p/17206772/17329758.aspx#17329758

and it's kind of a weak answer.

I'm trying to get some level of confidence that if I go through the
trouble of pulling out the old HDD and replacing it with this Western
Digital 320GB drive, that it will actually work.

In other words, does anyone know with relative certainty that it
*should* work? Or conversely, if anyone knows that it won't work, it
would be good to know that before I make the effort. Note, I've
already got the drive (from BestBuy) but it's still shrinkwrapped.
Would rather not break the seal if it's not going to work.

Thanks.

Looks like there's some good help available here:
