using the coupon code, I was able to get 2 for $30 shipped.
I haven't purchased an Intel processor since about 1994, and I
imagine a lot has changed since then. A cursory search showed me a lot
of Celeron and other socket 775 processors that go up to 3.8 GHz, but
I've read a couple of reviews that stated that some of the slower
processors out there, like the Celeron 430, actually do a better job.
Can anyone suggest a good processor deal to go along with this? Most
of the time this will be used for basic word processing, casual & older
games, and playback of mpeg4/h.264 video.

Hi Ohioguy
I would look for a CPU with a large L2 cache and high FSB.
You may use any of them because Your personal pause times will be
much larger than the CPU processing times may reflect.
