Athlon II x4 processors available?

After looking at the reviews and prices of the Athlon II x2 processors
last month, I decided to hold out a bit longer for the x3 or x4 version,
depending on price. I've been checking newegg every few days,
hoping it would be listed.
Recently, I found the info above - it shows a page that was obviously
meant to have the Athlon II x4 processor for sale, but it is "deactivated".
I'm wondering if it was every really for sale, or if it was some sort of
test page?
I did find another website confirming that newegg had it listed for sale
at $126 for at least a few hours. Maybe AMD is either having trouble
ramping up production on schedule, or perhaps doesn't have the advertising
in place yet, and wanted to hold off another week or two before sales?
Has anyone, to your knowledge, actually been able to purchase one of these
yet in the USA? I'm also wondering if newegg actually sold any, and what
price they were listed for. Thanks!
