I won't comment on the game itself since I'm still under NDA (yup). But I can comment on the "always online to play even in sinle player!" DRM.
What an happy tale!
"Happy" because D3 was *the* game under the spotlights, and thus the same spotlights showed the GARGANTUAN DEBACLE that followed the launch.... more »

I see dopey 3D view and 3D chit view. Where is the top down 2D? Did I misunderstand what's means by "top down 2D camera view?" Cuz I can only get "weird-ass isomorphic view of chits from 3D."

Conflict of Heroes out at Matrix

Just downloaded this. Never played the boardgame. I do like the
alternate turns for individual units. Since I'm playing on my
laptop, am not sure which view I will use...most likely 2D top down
with Chits. This might be a very fun multiplayer game for people who
can play at the same time. I love boardgames so will give this some... more »
