The WWII game was known as Ta.La.Co.Si - Tactical Land Combat
Simulator which managed to be innovative from a conceptual and rubbish
from a programming pov - he used numerous Access files to store
program data.

But maybe the developer has learned a thing or two about file
structures and caching.

Everything there looks one hundred percent identical to the way it looked
the last time I was there two years ago. What 'announcement' was there?

No public one, but Michael Pelosi send a mail to a SuperSekret Yahoo
mailing list about the game which sounded like it was something new.
But I guess it isn't.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The last time I messed with it, it was playable, albeit with a great deal of
effort to set up. It’s a client server thing and you have to get both parts
up and running. Additionally, there was no AI. My impression was that its
really mean for teams of human players to go at each other, and it might
actually shine in that arena given enough computing horsepower.
