Cossacks: Art of War expansion. Was ship repair added as a feature?

I recall the original Cossacks didn't allow a person to repair ships.
Does the Art of War expansion have this feature?

18th Century ships can be repaired but not 17th Century. I forget the
rationale they gave at the time but it sounded reasonable enough in terms of
theme/gameplay. This is the list of features from the Cossacks forum website:

1. Six new ships: 18-century Ship of the Line, 18-century Frigate, Ketch,
Cutter, Turkish Yacht, Galle***.
2. Two new unique Prussian units: 18-century infantryman, Prussian Hussar.
3. Two new nations: Bavaria and Denmark (each one has its unique architecture
and 1 unique unit).
4. Five new Campaigns: Prussia, Austria, Saxony, Algeria, Poland (30 missions).

5. Four levels of difficulty for Campaign missions.
6. 6 new Single Missions;
7. 6 new Historical Battles;
8. 6 new buildings for missions;
9. An option of game saving into a file for further replaying.
10. Ability to play jointly with computer + via network + alliances;
11. Several new types of formations;
12. Map & Mission editors;
13. Timer;
14. Mixed type of map landscape;
15. Formations can be built when several officers are outlined;
16. Possibility to select a number of units in a formation;
17. One mouse click will mean outlining of one unit;
18. Easier outlining of a moving unit;
19. Cursor animation for orders;
20. Hot keys for building and rebuilding formations;
21. Hot keys for troop controlling;
22. Formation and separately standing units sorting out when outlining; 17 and
