To celebrate the year in video games that was 2009, GameStooge is proud to
announce the GameStooge Awards Mega Giveaway Contest. We've had contests
before, but nothing, repeat, nothing like this before. In the next few
weeks, we'll be giving away several boxed copies of Plants Vs. Zombies,
codes for Call of Duty Arcade for the Xbox 360, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown
Wars for the PlayStation Portable, copies of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, as well as Microsoft Point, PSN and two month
World of Warcraft subscription cards!
Gee, wonderful. Thanks, Jonah.
Trying to clear the junk off your shelves??
Yet another Jonah troll-attempt for his pathetic gaming website.
John Lewis
A footnote:-
Jonah,
If you were not such a pompous prick on these newsgroups and seeking
to troll your website at every possible excuse, I might have been just
a little kinder in my statements above.
Happy Christmas.
John Lewis

Popcap, Activision, etc are all giving me this stuff.
Spam? What am I selling? LOL Strong talk from someone with a fake email.
Wait a sec.
John Lewis called ME a "pompous prick"?
JOHN. LEWIS. DID?
Anyone wanna go to the Google archives and selectively pick some of his
Steam rants? Console gaming rants? Yeah, he's not a pompous know-it-all.
(laugh)
The winner of the contest gets to not recieve this pile of crap! LOL
1) His e-mail is fine, just munged against harvesting. I started
doing that years ago when I got 50mb/day of viruses in a 2mb mailbox.
2) You're spamming your website.

You have been spamming these USENET gaming groups for years,
Joan.

The lying spammer beats his chest about using real information
when he is selling something, but the asshole uses sock puppets
for his dirty work.
Who you think you are makes no difference, Joan, everyone can see
what you are.

I don't mind that you plug your site. At least you're fairly open
about it - except for your irritating use of sockpuppets, esp. since
they're usually used to create some illusionary army of defenders.
dunno about Plants vs Zombies. I dl'ed the free shareware version and
played it for approx. 1 minute. At least people who buy it can know
what the game is, before buying. That's a plus.
Seems like the kind of game that might work well on nintendo, or an
iphone.
Sockpuppets? Dude, I have one account, this one. If anyone is using
sockpuppets, it would be you and the troll brigade.
Old saying: the fox is the first to smell his own hole.
Just who are my "sockpuppets"? lol
No response, huh?
Game #2 is Call of Duty: Classic (XBLA), if you're interested.

What's to say, Jonah?
That I tacitly consent to your spamming by not deleting the tons of
x-posted groups your OP was sent to?
I stated my take re. you plugging your site. I don't see any real
ground for controversy there, whether your site is kinda comical like
Mr Rob's budget games are comical, or not. More likely, this is Derek
Smart territory.
So, as I said.
I'll grant that it's likely true that you only use your one giganews
acc't to post.
For the rest, it's as I've said,
[I won't continue this]
