[Dominions] command switches

OK I didnt see this anywhere. The linux list is easy to get but the windows
one was tricky so I will post it here in case anyone wants to play with the
switches in the game. (right click on your icon, bring up properties, add
these to the line after dom.exe). Any batch-file programmers still around?

usage: dom [option(s)] [gamename]
options:
-i --nointro Disables the intro animation
-x --fastgrx Use only simple graphics (for slow computers)
-f --nofade No fade effects
-v --version Print version number and exit
-d Increase debug level
-s --nosound No sound effects
-m --nomusic No music
--clickvol Set volume for click sound (0-100, default=80)
-g --host Generate turns and exit
--verify Verify all 2h-files and exit (creates .chk files)
--statfile Create a statistics file after each turn (stats.txt)
--finalhost Generate turns, send out final score msg and exit
--tcpserver Start a Dominions multiplayer server
-t --hosttime X Y Host on day X (0=sunday) hour Y (0-23)
--tcpclient Connect to a Dominions multiplayer server
--ipadr XXX Use this IP-adr when connecting to server
--port XXX Use this port nbr
--postexec CMD Execute this command after each turn generation
--bitplanesX Try to use X nbr of bitplanes for graphics
--nodither Don't use dithering for 8bit graphics
-p --perftest Run a performance test and exit
-w --window Run in a window
Example: dom -is Runs Dominons without intro and sound

Thanks for that list. Finally, I can reduce that annoying click down to
unobtrusive levels! Skipping the opening intro is nice, too. I ran the
performance tests for kicks ... wonder what other undocumented goodies are
hidden inside.

I re-installed the game, patched it up and will now attempt once more to
figure it out. I printed out the manual and read it cover to cover and that
helps me get my head around this to some extent, but my biggest block has
been figuring out what to do once I've set things up, what kinds of things I
should be doing each turn to make progress, and so on. I'll just experiment
a bit and hope I don't get too frustrated by the interface...
