To all aspiring artists. I'm currently working on a NWN campaign that's
going to be great (no flase modesty), I'm looking for someone
to do ~12 character portraits for primary NPCs, and a few portraits of
various minor NPCs. If you're interested in working hard and getting nothing
but fame, full credit, and my eternal gratitude, write me :)

Just don't overdo it until you have a chance to see how the toolset Bioware
provides actually works.

And very few of them customized, high quality portraits. Most are mid- to
low-res scans of cover art from various fantasy novels. Even the best among
them are lower quality than what you receive with the game.

It's a shame I have no artistic talent. I would love some more high quality
portraits for Baldur's Gate, BG2, Icewind Dale, NWN (I hadn't realized the
portait format would be the same on this one) etc.

I do know that, but I'm really putting a lot of hard work and thought into
this campaign, I want it to be unique :)

Not mine! I scanned in all the best cards from the 1991 TSR Collector card
series, check them all out at www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/baldursgate1/ I have
8 'series' of them.

ALL Very high quality, something I pride myself on when making them. ;-)

He's going to be pretty safe in drawing portraits. The file size is
already known and it's a promised "definite" feature. There are even
samples of what style the portraits are being drawn in on the NWN
page.

Portraits are my least favorite item to draw, mainly because A)
they're hard to do, and B) they're hard to do.

You'll have to find an artist who's had more practice than I have.
You might check out Dee Dreslough's page.. I have a link to her
homepage from www.lostdragon.com Check it out under "art" links.

Thanks Ziroc. I have used your site in the past as well. Much better than
most, I have to admit. But still not quite what I've been looking for.
