Cthulhu Saves the World & Breath of Death VII

I picked this package up about a week ago on steam for $2.99, I
thoroughly enjoyed Breath of Death VII - perhaps a bit short, but for
$1.49(.5) it was pretty good. I've read it's supposed to be like one
of the old JRPGs, I imagine FF VII since the VII, but more like a
parody. I don't remember playing any games like this, but haven't
really played any JRPGs of note, so don't really know. It definitely
has some retro feel in the graphics & combat, but it plays well enough
to keep my interest.
I started Cthulhu, but it's very similar to BoD7, perhaps ratcheted up
a bit, and starting another right after was a bit too much to stomach,
so I'll probably come back to it after a break for something else.
