[OT]Catalyst 13.4 is not compatible with old games even more

just checked it on my 5770 (Win7-32) and discovered that
Soulbringer and Gothic do not work anymore.
(Bloodrayne got broken in some 12.x driver)
Returned to 11.4 and everything is OK
Probably you guys (with shiny new 7000s series) cannot run older drivers,
and thus out of luck.
Can some nVidia owner check one of those games?

Gothic works for me with my Radeon 7870, Catalyst 13.4 and Windows

7 64-bit. Don't have the other games to test.

them up in the same driver download. However, I doubt much if anything
has actually changed in the 5770 driver in 13.4. They put pretty much
all their focus on their newer cards.

Happened to me the first time I tried to run it. I killed the process

and then ran it again and it worked. I suspect it might have been stuck
rebuilding its VDFS tables. Also the opening movies don't display,
probably because I don't have the necessary codec installed, so when
it did run I got blank screen and had to click through to get to the
opening menu.
