I picked up the enhanced edition last weekend, I hadn't played it
before... I'm finding it less of an RPG and more like a murder
mystery... only with all the annoying parts the author would skip over
still in it, like going to the store to get a bottle of dwarven ale to
bribe someone. It seems like I've been playing a game where all I do
is go back and forth between 10 or so people over and over and over,
and rest repeatedly so I can go talk to someone when they are in the
right place, and it seems that people want to move where they are just
when I'm trying to complete something too. It's getting very tedious,
and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

The combat seems o.k. but like with the 'mystery' aspect it's become
tedious too, as I'm fighting monster mostly just to get from point a
to b, and they show up again going back from point b to point a. I
wish they'd mixed it up a bit more instead of having one very long
session of mostly running around talking, and then a very long session
of mostly fighting stuff.

I can't seem to get the hang of fist fights, I'm not sure what I'm
doing, I still seem to win most of the time though just clicking
random buttons.

Poker dice... The game cheats, since it lets who you are playing
decide what to do after you've already rolled instead of
simultaneously, which is a huge advantage... I also am annoyed that
the opponent still rolls when he's obviously won already, and it takes
a quite a while to roll each time.

I'm getting a lot of stuttering, mostly when the view changes
drastically, like going around a corner. I've set all video options
down to minimum, which helped in one area, but it seems back in the
area i'm in now (temple quarter). It's pretty annoying

I'm not sure I'd recommend it at this point, but the story itself is
pretty good, and if you liked Planescape you'd probably enjoy this
even with all the other issues.
