I've started as a mage like a lot of others, but like to try something
else as well. Maybe name him Jack of Speed.....
Thanks.

Sorry...Dragon Age is what I'm talking about
My tutorial character was a rogue. It was ok, but restarted as a mage
and finding it easier (regeneration spell is a blessing)
Rogues can be very potent. Look for abilities that help out with
backstabbing.
In Dragon Age? Or what?
Ah, yes....
I have a level 13 Dwarf rogue, named Smitty. He started life as a
common, casteless petty criminal. Man, he is a hoot to play. That
starting zone is highly dramatic - and his comments as he advances are
rather funny. Everybody outside of the Dwarven realms treats him with
respect like he actually is a decent person - LOL. He can't seem to get
used to it.

Thanks to you and OP for your input. I restarted the game as a rogue..
with my Mabari named Sweetie Pie.
I saved the mage for later. Only have gotten to level 4, but I too am
having a blast as well.

Yes, it was DA..I messed up the subject of the original post and
attempted to redeem myself in a follow-up post.

I'm playing a nobel Dwarf rogue, I like my build a lot.
Is it possible to play .. like .. hmm .. a normal
person with good work ethics, but not willing to
kiss every prissy Noble-Ass that walks by ?
Maybe find a cute girl-friend who likes kids
... and can cook ? And I'd like to be able to
talk to her without sounding like a priss-pot.

No, no it's not.
