Yes I know its a silly question.
I'm asking is this really only for the proper dedicated RPG'ers ?
I enjoy RPG's as in Morrowind Oblivion Gothics's & Have quite enjoyed NWN2
..but only because
it did not force me to spend most of the time working at the Stats.
Some reviews of Dragon Age seem to say its a lot of Micro-Management.
So is it any interest for those who want to spend most time Bashing &
Roaming around ?

I'll say that I so far have spent more time paused during combat issuing
orders than I did watching the combat play out. It's not an action game, to
be sure. It's like most of Bioware's modern RPGs... real-time combat, but
not really action oriented.
If you're looking for action, I'd pick up Borderlands if I were you. That
game is a great action game.
Absolutely not. Try Torchlight instead... also available on Steam.
Diablo 3 type game... lots of fun if you like that kind of game...
you could try easy mode, they say you don't need to pause that way
I was going to buy it until I read a review that said there are no
NPCs/bots in the single player game (I am not much of a MP person
except for Left 4 Dead). So, you'd be playing the SP by yourself.
Isn't that the traditional way of playing a single player game/mode? As
a single player?
Single player = yourself
Or do I misunderstand?

Left 4 Dead is a Co-op game. When you play by yourself, you pick one
of the four characters. The AI plays the rest of them so you have all
four in the co-op.
Maybe I read it wrong and there are teammates in the SP game, but this
is from the Gamespot review:
"..., but for the most part Borderlands offers precious little in the
way of non-player character contact. This makes playing solo a lonely
experience. Though the action is still satisfying and the world is
still interesting, solo players will have a slower-paced adventure in
which the flashes of comedy also serve to underscore how sparse those
flashes are."
If I am wrong, I will most likely get it!
At least, not yet. Maybe modders can change that? Maybe not, since it may
require a player AI foundation to base off of. It's a shame, really, because
I usually find it more fun with multiple players/characters.
If you play Borderlands single player, it will be a bit more tactical. You
don't want to get surrounded or overwhelmed.
Playing with multiple players turns it into something like what Serious Sam
would be as a co-op game. Fast, furious action almost all the time. At
least, if you're playing with people who run into danger all the time. :-)

>No AI bot teammates in the SP or MP version of Borderlands.
Oh well, am going to pass. And the video review at Gamespot mentioned
that it is best that everyone has leveled up to the same levels so
that is going to be nothing but trouble in the on-line community. Oh
well.
> Absolutely not.
I concur.
