Subject: Starting Gemini Rue
I got Gemini Rue for half off at GoG ($5) a few days back. It's a
classical adventure game from the creators of Resonance and the
Blackwell series (https://www.wadjeteyegames.com). Not only the
interface, but the graphics are also what you'd find in games from
mid-90s. The dialogs are voice acted though. The installation executable
is about 240mb.

The start of the game reminded me most of the old 90s game, Innocent
Until Caught. Though the tone here is way more serious. I'll post more
on it later.

It came out more than an year ago. Did anyone here try it (or the demo)?

Well, every time I've looked at it including that sale, the graphics put
me off. I'm not sure if you can smooth them with HQ2x filter for
example, but that might make it more bearable. Guess I'm kind of done
with the fat pixels of yesteryear. Everything else about it looks
impressive though.

I bought it.  Did the same thing for me. I couldn't get into it.  I am
sick of all this retro graphic fad that is going on now.
