"Three cards to midnight" has just been announced. The game is by the actor (and author)
of the Tex Murphy series. No additional info yet, but I already know I'll get it.

This is great news.

Here's some more information from Aaron Conners (another Access
Software veteran)

Thanks for the information. I'll buy Aaron's game for sure.

I can't read much French, but can figure some of it out. I clicked on
"premier teaser" or something like that on the site, but nothing happened. I
thought a teaser was sketches or something like that but I guess not. I
always hoped Chris Jones would be in another Tex Murphy game. I liked
Pandora Directive a lot and can't imagine him being anyone other than Tex
Murphy. But hopefully this new game will be good.

If you have Flash player installed the teaser should play automatically,
check your settings - you might need a Flash (re)install.

But you're not missing anything, believe me, the so-called teaser is a
joke - it shows absolutely nothing about the game itself, just voice
overs and static images of cards flying by <YAWN>.

I'm looking forward to this game though, I remember playing and enjoying
that one game he made with actress Terri Garr (sp?) quite a bit, can't
remember the name right now.

I thought it might be that. I was using Win 98 and have XP on another
partition, but use Win 98 for most things, and I can't get Flash player to
install, though I tried several times to install flash for Win 98. I guess I
could check it out with Win XP but now yuo have told me I am not missing
anything, I won't bother.

I don't temember Teri Garr in a Tex Murphy game. On her biography on
www.imdb.com it says she was in Black Dahlia PC game in 1998. Could that be
the game you were thinking of?

Yup, you're right, I was indeed thinking of Black Dahlia which is not a Tex
Murphy game - and it's not very good either, I did not even finish it.

I was thinking of Overseer, which is the last of the TM games. Either that
or Pandora Directive, I forget now - but I have played both :) Never played
UaKM for some reason (which many consider to be the best in the series)
because somehow I couldn't get it to run properly on my machine at the time.

That made no sense whatsoever LOL but I guess you know what I mean - I got
those games completely mixed up in my head.

I thought Black Dahlia was ok and at the time I played it, a lot of people
liked it more than I did.

No, it doesn't make too much sense, but I think you meant you *thought* that
Teri Garr was in Oversee or Pandora Directive, though she wasn't in any of
them :>) I played all 3 Tex Murphy games, and the one I liked best was
Pandora Directive. I didn't care for UAKM but it was OK. Overseer wasn't as
good as any of the previous two in the series.

For what it's worth, Margot Kidder was in Under a Killing Moon.
