I remember playing a game some time around 1993-1994 that was about a
young Wizard, it was similar to a King's Quest game, a Graphical RPG/
Adventure. For the life of me I can't find anything on it, since I can't
remember the name. I think it had at least one if not two sequels.

One possibility would be "Fairy Tale Adventure", although
afaik it had no sequels.

King's Quest (plus other *-quest series) were published
by Sierra Entertainment. Try to go there and onward
in your research.

Faery Tale Adventure, which I had on the Amiga, did indeed have a sequel. But
you didn't really play a sorceror in that game, although you could obtain a
wand later on in the game.
