Yep, the entertaining of friends is really bugging me too. Fortunately
I found the option to disable the story mode on my phone so I can
explore without the nagging.

I don't love the triggers on the PS3 controller, but you can always
remap gas and brake. I'm thinking someone will make trigger
extensions, I know a game magazine included some once.
