Is it different enough from the original game to still be interesting? I did
like the original and loved the horse riding parts.

How's the MP? MP maps were too small in the first one, IMO.

Video Trailer http://callofjuarez.uk.ubi.com/#/main/trailers

Excerpts & links to lots of fairly, but not very good reviews.
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/callofjuarezboundinblood?q=Call%20of%20juarez

""Bound in Blood is a much more enjoyable experience than the first
Juarez...."
"Top production values ... exciting gameplay ..."
" The repetitive nature of the missions, coupled with some technical issues,
keeps this title from standing out more. "

"..gorgeous to look at ....story worth experiencing, but multiplayer is
nothing (much)
..no co-op .... Bound in Blood is worth a look, ...it doesn't take the
series on enough."

"... Bound in Blood is thus a straight-shooting tale of outlaw anti-heroes
chasing after treasure and fighting over a woman, ... a well-spun yarn...
fantastic sense of place and time, ..

It also irons out most of the first game's quirks, and railroads the action
straight into a set-piece-studded shooting gallery in the Call of Duty
style. Rarely in recent memory has a game been so relentlessly focused on
Shooting The Men Who Are Quite Far Away And Difficult To See. ..... a
supremely old-fashioned FPS, but that's not necessarily a problem, because
this is old-fashioned country. Rifling .. bodies for ammo, squinting down...
sights and grimacing at reload times while you hide behind a rock suits the
weaponry and wild gunfights of the era, and goes with the untamed
territory."

I haven't read anywhere that mentions this but it would have been nice if it
had been a kind of wild west simulation with you able to take missions from
the town to apprehend bandits, rob a train or blow up a bridge. I don't think
that's ever been done has it? I'd buy it if they did!

Looks like I'll be taking a look then! :-)

Another one for the list. Really enjoyed half of the first one (the Ray
half not the Billy part)

I think GUN was a little like that, but it's been a while.

If they released an editor then modders could make it like that. I would
rather have a more open ended game too. First CoJ ws too scripted IMO.
Is this one all scripted missions with no real freedom?
