1. Where can I aquire grenades. Been to many stores but none listed.
2. The licences listed at stores; what are they for and are they needed
early in the game?
3. The listed items that I have for sale. Are these non-equiped items and is
there any danger that I might sell something that I might need later?
Still learning :)
Thanks in advance,
Alan

Just checked and I have now played this game for 12.6 hours according to
Steam. As such, I think I am now in a position to answer your questions
with some authority:
1) Don't know
2) No idea
3) Got me there.
Hope this helps

If you are asking about Mass Effect 2 ... I don't know. If you are
asking about Mass Effect:
1) You'll pick them up from fallen foes as you go. They are pretty
scarce at first but eventually you will find many different types.
2) As you progress through the game you will encounter many merchants.
The licenses you carry will dictate what they will sell to you,
otherwise they will just show you their 'normal' stuff. I buy every
license I can.
3) Non-equipped. Sell it all and you (and your companions) will still
have all your equipped gear.
Make sure you equip your companions as well or they will only have their
starting gear. All of you "level up" at the same pace whether they are
with you or not -- but their gear doesn't. I usually have favourite
helpers that I always use so I just focus on them. I have heard there is
a maximum amount of items you can pick up but I've yet to have my
inventory full. Find out what their preferred weapons are.
In early game you will find better items as you go and the stuff in
shops will be way out of your price range. Later, by selling the excess
and duplicates to your shipboard merchant, you will have more moola than
you know what to do with.
Hope this helps.

As ME2 isn't being released until January, it will be ME :-)

I'm with you on that but to the original poster - the disc version came
with a book that explains all this shit?? Thanks for that. I guess I
should admit defeat and read it...
Time to play, old age and memory seems to be my problem with this game.
I play for a while on a weekend, go abroad to work, come back the
weekend after and can't remember where I am or what I'm supposed to be
doing... :)
I used to be like that til I got the implant :)
Seriously tho, why Google, forum search or walkthru when u can get someone
to reply with short precise answer later while u are busy playing?

Fair enough but if you you do just a little bit of seaching for say a
walkthru you can gleem more information that may help you later for other
questions you might have. Its that "teach a man how to fish thing.." 8-)).
For myself, I can't wait for ME2!
