I'm currently downloading Dusk-12, a mere snip at 14.95
The phrases "totally new graphics engine that uses to the limit the
latest technology" and "hyper realistic graphics" means that it will
look like something from 2003. It also refers to an "Innovative physic
system" so it's bound to have rigor mortis physics that makes the
NPC's seem like "Morph" the Plasticine man.
I love these games.

That one doesn't look that bad. The weapon moldels are already better
than STALKER and Far Cry 2 since they have the actions on the correct
side.
I'll see if there's a demo of that, but 15 is a little too much for me
right now :)
I'm really enjoying this Terrorist Takedown game. The graphics are pretty
much 2004 and it crashes (usually to desktop) about once every 30 minutes
(got one BSOD so far too). But - it's great fun, rubbish plot - awful voice
acting, hard scenery narrowing you down a route in most cases. BUT it is
well worth the money and I've played it for a few hours now and want to get
back into it - I'm only replying because it crashed again!

I've uploaded the intro movie to the game so that you can get an idea
of just how awesome Dusk-12 is.
This intro movie really sets the scene and explains the story behind
the game in a clear and concise manner.

I don't understand! This intro? Why? Why did you put this intro on
Youtube? Who is in the video? Is it you? No!

Add the word afiduluminag to the subject to circumvent my email filters.
>I don't understand! This intro? Why? Why did you put this intro on

We must destroy him!
That is definitely the best intro movie ever. There's quite clearly a
deep and complex story behind this game.

Rob? Here? But how? No! Why? Don't! No! No! No!
We must destroy him!
It's captures one's attention all right.
My immediate impression was "quakelike character model", of the old
school textured in tones of green (the hulk), followed by an
impression that the (brain of the) guy on the operating table had been
totally "Stroggiffied".
I looked up the graphics engine and got "totally new" and "up to
date", which says nothing whatever. Nothing in computer software is
"totally new".
Actually, I think you'll find that the game engine for Dusk-12 is TOTALLY
NEW. TOTALLY. NEW.
That is art that is.

Yeah, zen art...
"Zen art does not try to create the illusion of reality. It abandons
true to life perspective, and works with artificial space relations
which make one think beyond reality into the essence of reality"
I had one of those zen moments while watching it...

What could be analogous to Barney throwing Gordon Freeman a crowbar to
send him on his way? I mean, these guys are in control of matter
transmitters and they give their guy a crowbar?
After that, I had to forget about "storyline".
In that regard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA-Jhfqp3A0
Fallout 3: Mr. Burke and Roy Phillips, + Megaton Explosion
This shows how pc action games exist now, in terms of providing fine
tuned and diverse storylines.
A person has to applaud.

Sorry, I work in a research department and contrary to what is shown on TV
and in movies we just don't have weapons nearby. Even our guards have none
visible. I would be difficult to even get a crowbar!

I bet you all have 19mm pistols though don't you? Hmmm?
I bet they'd all have a bit more than that if they were the last best
hope for human resistance working in a secret lab totally surrounded
by occupation forces.
Tho' of course they all might've forgot 'em at home. Dang!!
