I'm not sure if that's good or bad news actually.

I like Bethesda, and I like the Elder Scrolls games, but I wouldn't like
to see _The Elder Scrolls: Stalker_.
STALKER had it's own feel, quite different from Bethesda's other works
and it just wouldn't be STALKER without that feel.

If Bethesda/Zenimax are just funding and publishing but letting the
Stalker guys do the actual creation, Yay!

I think it is good news and welcome news, but I hope they don't"
pretty it up" like Rockstar did to Max Payne 3.

It looks like they will use the Bethesda-Fallout engine and programing
team. I hope they keep the Stalker feel and atmosphere, but I fear
they will Americanize it. Maybe it will be a Stalker-ish type game
with a larger and more open world.

Forgot to post a quote from the link:

"The game is multiplatform(consoles+PC) and is based on Bethesda
technology.

It's being made by a studio familiar with that technology(possibly
Obsidian or the Fallout 3 team from Bethesda, but no facts as of yet).
It is almost 100% guaranteed that it's not a Ukrainian studio."
