Contrary to recent rumours, Prey 2 has not been cancelled. But it has
been delayed and won't now be released in 2012.

I really liked Prey and I hope that Prey 2 does finally get released
one day.

I wouldn't put myself in the "really" category, but I did like Prey.
Hope it's a decent sequel.

How long was the original in the pipe? Think I first read about it in
the mid 90's. It was scrapped multiple times and resurrected like 10
years later.

I also felt the final release was a solid game, with a couple of
standout moments... The part where you were teleported down to the
tiny little planet inside the room was mind blowing, and it was also
really cool when it changed up to flying a space shit toward the end.
