I know that outgoing Internet speed is almost always much smaller
than incoming speed, so the ordinary Internet service might be
problematic. But how do you go about getting the software? I will
check on their website too.
I think Linux may be your answer but I don't know the details and know
nothing about that particular game so you will have to do a lot of
research on how to set up a Linux game server from your PC. One thing I
do know is that if the game's graphics are compatible with Linux or not
is not necessary because you can run a game server without need to
actually run the game's graphics engine. Perhaps it depends on the game
but I've seen quite a lot of MP games with people running servers using
Linux. This means you yourself don't play the game from the server and
would connect to it just like everyone else does but you control the
server admin side of it and have it running on a dedicated PC just for
that game. Something like that anyway and I really don't know much about
it so could be wrong.

Yeah, that (and the point about not needing to run the graphics
engine) is interesting. Thanks.

You have no clue whether Linux is even a supported platform for this
particular game server, but ya decided to go ahead and recommend it
anyway? Interesting..

Nor do most Linusers.
