quick fallout 3 PC cheat question

I started the game,and how I grow up and all that, but, like the GTA
universe, I dont really want to play the "story"I would really just
like to wander around in the awesome looking wasteland enviroments.

now, I know how to enable cheats........but I dont know what I exactly
type in to simply get outside? I found the cheat list but the
descriptions of each cheat are kinda vague.

so can anyone tell me how I can get outside the underground vault?

It takes 30mins to get out of the vault. Just knuckle down, and take a Save
game when you get out if you want to quickly start another game.

You can obviously use the cheats you already have to smooth your progress
through Vault 101, but you won't need it since it's incredibly benign.

I'm afraid you may well be disappointed as those environments all look the
same...
There is no weather or wind ..
The game is very controlling in where it will let you go ...much more so
than Oblivion.
or a GTA.
Also there isn't very much just lying around .
You really need to follow the main quest at least a bit to get to know about
a
lot of what's is there.

The best recent game for a wander where you like & forget the main quest is
GOTHIC 3 plus Community Patch.
IMO it looks a lot better than F3.

I hated the start, and also struggled when I first got out of the Vault. But stick
with it. IMO it's well worth the initial hassle. Just remember to use the VATS
system for combat wherever possible, and use the map to hop around quickly to
locations you've already discovered. Discovering them in the first place can be a
slog, especially while you're weak and vulnerable. But you can save whenever you
like, which helps smooth your progress nicely.
