Ars Technica is a website by fucktards for fucktards.

They're fucktards too.

I admire people who don't discriminate.
... or maybe a website of thoughtful articles for thoughtful people
written by thoughtful people??
Specifically, the Ars opinion on MW2 is by a PC player and for PC
gamers.
Pretty accurate statements on both the crass short-changing of the PC
version of the game and Activision's $$-driven motives, imho.
This is a PC games newsgroup. So, if you are a genuinely dedicated PC
game-player, then maybe you should consider PREFERENTIALLY supporting
the few companies (by buying, NOT PIRATING, their products) that still
do not short-change the PC player. such as Bohemia (ARMA1,2), Bethesda
(FO3 etc), GSC ( Stalker, etc ), CDProjekt (the Witcher..), Relic
(Company of Heroes, Warhammer etc...) )and, of course, Blizzard....
and dare I say it Valve... but only for their own PC games. Plus very
interesting PC game indies like Runic (Torchlight), Introversion
(Darwinia, Defcon, Mutliwinia etc..)

I actually started reading Ars T a couple of years ago for its
insightful technical articles and excellent URL references for further
reading. Their gaming section is usually equally insightful with
regard to their views on games. The reviewer's concern about the
short-changing of PC game-players with MW2 is well-placed. A price of
$60 for the PC version is an insult. $19.99 is about what it is worth
in the context of gaming value to the PC gamer.
You have bought MW2, no doubt??

Yes, the fucktard article from the fucktard magazine apparently didn't
influence the landscape much, this game is selling like hot cakes.
I don't really like paying $60 for games but I will get way more than
$60 out of the multiplayer action on this one.
