So I downloaded a trial version of "IBM Rational Developer for Power
Systems Software", version 8.0.3, and I tried to create a remote C++
project and my only options are AIX or Linux.  I care about neither of
those platforms.  I want to test creating C++ & RPG projects for a
System i.  Am I doing something wrong?  I don't use an Eclipse-based
environment yet but am pushing for it before we go and hire a bunch of
new people.  We use Rational Application Developer 7.5 (Websphere)
which does me no good as my area of responsibility is background
transaction processing with C/C++.

Sounds like I downloaded the right tool... maybe I just haven't hit
the right option yet.

   I am not sure how that applies to the "Trial" version 8.0.3 from the
above.

   Also in that prior noted message thread, there is reference to an
article claiming to provide "a good introduction to the whole Rational
