Subject: Re: Kraftwerk's "Pocket Calculator"
(Please post this on comp.sys.hp48, my newsreader doesn't like me.)
I've written one.
(It also displays a nice screen.)
I sampled the tones from my record and counted the pulses by hand
in a sample-editor to get the correct frequency and duration.
It's the *old* version of Pocket Calculator, btw, I don't have The Mix.
I got my version from Computer Welt (the record).
Let's see if I can get the program in here..
(This is typed in by hand, so don't trust it to transfer
right into your Hp48)

Now, I don't know how many of these values that makes sense,
but it plays perfectly on my Hp48sx ROM rev A.

Could someone email me this in binary form? Or the usual posted form?
I can't seem to get it to work in this form. :(

It worked fine for me. Just don't forget to turn USER mode off, and anywhere
in the post that you see a number with two decimal points (ie: ..00925), just
type in one decimal point. Works great!
Mr. Perry said it worked great on his SX rev. A, but how about on a GX? The
song works fine, but it sounds a bit fast. How for to fix it? Should I just
multiply all the numbers by 2, or some of the numbers, or what? In general,
how do you convert SX BEEPs to GX BEEPS? I think there were some posts
concerning this a while back, but I'm not sure. If you could help, thanks!
