Does anyone perhaps have a so-called "742757 0 5DEG PIN"?

It's a piece of (black) plastic, apparently used on DEC LK201
keyboards to raise/elevate them; to tilt the keyboard and to
add elevation for ergonomic purposes.

I'm interested in one or two of these. If not "5DEG" (5
degrees), else of a different amount of degrees.

Thanks in advance.

I'll bet I do, and I'll bet they're in use. How about a short piece
of dowel? Probably would last longer.

This sounds like something that could easily be printed up with an
extrusion based 3D printer. Do you have a local maker space (i.e.
<http://makezine.com/> style) group?

I don't know how cheaply those things can operate, but that sounds
much more expensive than the 2 cents it's worth.

The local makers at the makerspace shared by my computer graphics
museum are more than willing to make small parts like this for
nothing.

I don't know why everyone keeps thinking using PLA extruder printers
is expensive, because all the people I know that own and operate them
tell me that it's NOT expensive.

That could be a (temporary) solution.

Not sure, but I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have thrown out so damn many of these things over the years, but looking
in my middle desk drawer I only find one of them right now. It's yours if
you want it, but having just one of them is not really very useful.

Mine is indeed the 5deg one, as shipped with the uVax workstations.

Actually, one would be just fine! I have only just one and I
(obviously) need two. I asked for one or two, so that I might
have a spare one (just in case).
