Hello.
I have an 11/23, 512k RAM, MSCP disk (RD32) that I would use with a
Unix also with network.
I tried Ultrix 3.1, it works and it's light, but network has bad
behaviors I couldn't solve, so I cannot use it in effect.
I thought about 2BSD, but 2.9 don't support MSCP, there's a version
2.9 with MSCP made by a user, but I couldn't install it to disk...
Otherwise, there's a 2.11 around, but it requires at leas 1M RAM, and
more disk space, or alternatively a 2.10 or 2.10.1, but I don't know
anything of these one...
So in the end, to spare time, I would need an advice...
Anybody?
Thanks
Andrea

I don't know the answer, but I do also have an 11/23 I want to get up
and running. Are you going to post details of your experience
anywhere? I'd really love to hear about it all!

I believe that 2BSD with networking is out of the question on an 11/23,
even if you have 1MB of memory. It requires supervision mode, and
separate I/D space unless I remember wrong.

Ultrix is by far your best choice, I'm afraid...

I believe you are right on the I/D space thing. Not sure about the
other.
