It this what you are looking for:

It's Vegas, baby! The Commodore Vegas Expo v2, a.k.a. CommVEx, is
storming Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 29-30. The Fresno Commodore User
Group and the Clark County Commodore Computer Club of Las Vegas will
work hard to make this sophomore effort the best C= show on the West
Coast of the United States.

This year CommVEx v2 will be at the classic Plaza Hotel & Casino, 1 S.
Main Street, in fabulous downtown Las Vegas.
http://www.plazahotelcasino.com The Plaza offers reasonably priced,
comfortable rooms. More information on reserving a room for CommVEx
will
come later.

The Plaza has a 24-hour gambling casino, several restaurants including
a 24-hour coffee shop, showroom, tennis courts, a pool, and free
parking.
The Plaza Hotel lies at the foot of the glittery Fremont Street
Experience. The Las Vegas Strip with its out-of-this world hotel
casinos
is a few miles to the south.

In the same hotel, on the same floor, on the same weekend, there will
be
the giant 10th Annual Pinball Fantasy Show. For one admission price,
play all the pinball machines you want or buy pinball machines in
the Super Auction Room. http://www.pinballfantasyshow.com

Hang around Las Vegas until August 4-6 and attend the hacker's
convention,
Defcon 14, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino. http://www.defcon.org

The hours of CommVEx are:

Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (longer hours if needed)
Sunday, 12 noon to 7 p.m.

Admission - $10 for one or both days

We are also gathering excellent raffle prizes for the show. Here is a
partial list of the prizes -- a SuperCPU 64, a SX-64, a 1581 disk
drive,
and a C64 DTV modded by Jeri Ellsworth.

Guests and demonstrations to be announced.

As Bruce Thomas said of last year's CommVEx,

"We are going to be looking for people with interesting Commodore
software, hardware, and activities to put on demos. We are going to be
looking for volunteers to help set things up, man the
ticket/registration
table, pick people up at the airport/hotels, etc.."

"So, if you want to be part of something really great, if you want to
attend the [second] big Commodore EXPO in the Western United States in
this millenium, if you want to demo your latest Commodore-related
invention, if you have Commodore-related products for sale and would
like
to set up a table with your wares, please get in touch with Robert
Bernardo..."

"...let us know what level of participation you would like to
have. The event can only get better and will only be as good as the
participants make it."
