Jim - I've sent you a message with information for your list - it seems
to have gotten out of Toronto addressed to 'ALL'. Please keep an eye
open for it. Thanks.

Jim -the following information is passed on from Ernie Chorny in Toronto
Ontario-

Under the CBM B series listing--
The B series user's guide (silver in colour) differentiated between the
High Profile and the Low Profile by calling the Low Profile the B-128-80
(or B256-80) and the High Profile the CBM-128-80 (or CBM-256-80)

Further if the optional 8088 CPU board was installed the model number
became BX-128etc or CBMX-256 etc.

There didn't seem to be a model name change when the optional Z80 board
was used.

There is a blue user's guide that refers to the B128-80, B256-80 and the
C128-40. Here the B128 etc seem to fit the previous descriptions (high
and low profile) while the C128-40 was a different machine in the B128
low profile case (no built in monitor so you could use a TV). The
C128-40 had a 40 column screen, colour, IEEE drive connector, 2 joystick
ports on the back, 6581 SID, 6509 CPU, 6551 ACIA for RS232, 6567 VIC II
and 128K of RAM expandable to 256K internally plus 704K externally for a
total of 960K. Future options were to include an 8088 board and a Z80
board. This mau also have been called the P128 or the P500 (which you
refer to).

The users guide says the B series had the option of having a pair of low
profile drives built into the case (and illustrates this).

Under the CBM-64 heading -

Ernie Chorny has a Commodore MAX Machine (so called on the external
cardboard box). The keyboard side says 'MAX' and the sticker on the
underside says 'MAX-04' (warranty card is in Japanese). The keyboard is
a membrane type.

Under the interesting 'Never Released" heading -

CEI advertised they had CDTV II's for sale (from the Commodore warehouse
purchase) - apparently these had a built-in drive.

Ernie Chorny has a CBM B500 (B series) with 256K RAM (low profile). This
machine was loaned by Commodore to Professional Software in Toronto
(remember WordPro?) so they could adapt their software to the B series.

Hope this is helpful and not confusing.

Where can one find the list of Commodore equipment?

Jim - here is some more information from Ernie Chorny-

"I have a VIC 20 cartridge called 'Waterloo Structured Basic. It is
Commodore number VIC-1001.

Also a Commodore hand held calculator Model F4902 with red LED
readout,black case and 49 buttons.

And a Commodore desk adding machine printing on the included roll of
paper - Model 202.

In the Dec 81 Commodore magazine a VIC 1515 printer is listed (which you
show) and also a VIC 1515R which is the ribbon cartridge for the same
printer.

In a repoet on the 1982 CES a Wizard of Wor cartridge for the VIC20 was
apparently shown as well as 'Commodore's own' Space Vulture - maybe this
was an early name for VIC Avenger?

How about a list of Plus/4 cartridges? I have the following -
T116004 Pirate Adventure
T116005 Atomic Mission
nonumber Strange Odyssey
T112001 Script/Plus
T113016 Tutorial Cartridge (more for the C16)
T232001 Financial Advisor
T263001 Logo
??? Jack Attack (this one is hiding right now so don't know number

You don't show an owner for the T-1341 Plus/4 joysticks- I have several
of these.

I have 2 Plus/4's - appear to be identical. The later serial number one
has the logo, the word 'Commodore' and 'Plus/4' in raised letters on the
nameplate which looks as if it is integral with the case. The earlier
one has a 'stickon' nameplate with all letters flat - ie printed on the
lable - same design as the later one except instead of 'Plus/4' it has a
fat '+' sign which is partially obscurred on the right by a styllized
'4' which is followed by the chicken beak part of the Commodore logo.

Jim - are you going to set up a list (perhaps separate) for Commodore
released software?

If so here is some VIC 20 stuff I have -
VIC 2211 - Jigsaw (tape)
VIC 2213 - SpaceSnake (tape)
3052 - Know your child's IQ (disk)
3301 - Simplicalc (disk)
3302 - Simplicalc (tape - I don't have)
3304 - VicFile (disk)
3505 - Robert Carrier's Meny Planner (tape)

These are all UK origin obtained from Commodore Canada."

That's all for now Jim
