I think they had so many downloads, that the webserver could not cope! :)
They had about 700 tries for downloads in 4-5 hours, which quite a lot for a
BeOS product. :) :)

Geez, since when is it so hard to keep a server up.
Is everyone running Microsoft?. I figured with everyone
banging on Wildcard's door, good time to sneak in and
get the Corum update. Wrong. I got half of it.

Pthbhthbt! Humbug :)

i have the full version and the update to the full version in the same place as the CivCTP post from earlier....
it's http://www.cdws.com.au/downloads/beos/games/
and is an unofficial mirror......originally done for my friends down here in Australia, but open to anyone who is interested. It's free, no strings, as i am trying to promote BeOS down here. So far the "word of mouth" approach is doing BeOS ok, but i think more needs to be done.

Apparently us Australians are quick to adopt new OSs and new technology but i'm not sure how many Aussies are using BeOS. The "offical" AUSBUG site hasn't been updated in months, so unless i set up one here in Melbourne (which i probably will) the only people seemingly who use it here are ppl who are willing to experiment and know what they're doing......which isn't a bad thing i suppose :) but more needs to be done in terms of promoting it.......

Well it's comforting to know that you all can keep a
server online there in Oz. Seems to be better than
we can do here.

Thanks a bunch Peter. If I ever get to Melbourne
I'll give you a big wet kiss.

hheheehe! thanks! well it's just a Pentium III 500 running Apache on Linux. I've had about 45 downloads since i put it up and thats only in 24 hours...i dont know that its a huge load on the box but the line utilisation is at 96% at the moment.....i suppose WC Design got hit all at once, but maybe they should have arranged some mirrors.
Cool game though!
